“Please just try the broccoli, just one bite…”

You have tried everything, you have been on Pinterest, begged, spooned, coaxed and danced in a carrot costume but your child still won’t touch a broccoli tree You need these 5 low effort solutions you can apply by dinner time.

Change your energy and focus fast. Children avoid what we are invested in. Act uninterested… a fresh start.

For children aged 1-5 invest in a Montessori learning tower. Bring your child into the heart of the action. Use specific praise when they get it right. I like the way you chopped that banana…

Exposure… foster independence and curiously by creating the scene. Ask for help at the grocery store, visit the Emirates farm.

Invest in toddler safe chopping knives & quirky cutters without expectations other than they just get involved. Repeat. It won’t happen overnight.

Model eating veggies yourself. Model shopping for them. Model planning meals around them.

Offer veggies as snacks.

Add them alongside a dip.

Drop the pressure, ramp up the chilled modelling approach to a lifelong love of veggies.
