Helping Families Thrive with Calm, Confidence and Connection
I’ve been fortunate to spend more than 35 years working with babies, children, and families — helping hundreds of parents navigate the ups and downs of family life.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: British nanny, special needs teacher, child and family officer, nursery school principal, maternity nurse, and now educator, coach and speaker. Many of you may know me from my time leading a nursery school in Dubai, where I became known as Principal Lisa. Others know me as The Potty Queen, from my workshops, videos and coaching sessions.
In 2019, my own journey took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune spine condition, which led to a wheelchair and several surgeries.

In 2019, my own journey took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune spine condition, which led to a wheelchair and several surgeries.
After immersing myself in the culture and developing my own learning techniques, I became fluent in just 18 months. This experience inspired me to create a learning system that combines cultural context, practical usage, and an immersive approach.
For a moment, I worried that my career would end there.
But during the pandemic, I discovered something wonderful: by moving my work online and into homes, I could help even more families than ever before.
Now, I guide parents through the root causes of unsettled children, crafting personalised approaches to support each family at every step.
What truly sets me apart is my passion for helping children and families rediscover joy in the everyday. I love finding clever little parenting hacks that make life calmer, routines that actually work, and ways to help children stand a little taller as they grow.

Empowering Parents to Empower Their Children
My mission has always been empowerment, practicality, and passion.
Empowerment means giving parents the knowledge and tools to help their children flourish. Practicality means I share no-nonsense techniques that are easy to understand and implement. Passion means I am always learning, growing, and improving alongside the families I work with.
Parenting isn’t about perfection — it’s about connection, understanding, and creating an environment where your child can shine. My goal is to help you get there.

Why Families Trust Me
I’m known for uncovering the real reasons behind children’s behaviour and guiding parents to solutions that work. My approach is respectful, evidence-based and rooted in decades of real experience. I’ve helped children overcome challenges big and small — from potty learning fears to bedtime battles, mealtime meltdowns to emotional outbursts. I believe every child deserves a calm, confident parent and a home where they feel seen, heard and supported.
