For more than 35 years, I have had the privilege of supporting families through every stage of childhood, from newborns to school-aged children.
My career has taken me from working as a British nanny, to becoming a special needs teacher, child and family officer, nursery school principal, and now an educator, coach, and speaker. I'm thriving in my 50’s!
Many people in Dubai know me as ‘Principal Lisa’ from my years leading a nursery school. Others might know me as ‘The Potty Queen’ through my potty training workshops, videos, and coaching sessions.
In 2019, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune spine condition.
For more than 35 years, I have had the privilege of supporting families through every stage of childhood, from newborns to school-aged children.
My career has taken me from working as a British nanny, to becoming a special needs teacher, child and family officer, nursery school principal, and now an educator, coach, and speaker. I'm thriving in my 50’s!

After immersing myself in the culture and developing my own learning techniques, I became fluent in just 18 months. This experience inspired me to create a learning system that combines cultural context, practical usage, and an immersive approach.
Moving to a wheelchair and facing multiple surgeries made mewonder if I could continue my work.
But during the pandemic, I discovered I could reach more families than ever before by taking my work online, sharing my expertise in their homes as well is in-person.
Today, I help parents uncover the real reasons behind unsettled children and guide them with personalised, respectful strategies that work in everyday life.
What drives me most is seeing children and parents rediscover joy in the everyday. I love finding simple parenting hacks, creating routines that actually stick, and helping children stand a little taller with confidence.
